HADDEO GRADE.

Specifications:

The image above is taken from a floor finished with oil. Please note that our grades may also be finished with a matt varnish which makes the finished colour much closer to the original colour of the unfinished board.
Named after the Haddeo Woodlands belonging to the Dru family and in the heart of Exmoor. This grade of oak flooring is similar to the Exmoor grade but knottier, with heavier clusters of 'catspaw', bolder figuring and a wider grain. The knots tend to be large and there are wide variations in colour

Also available in other random widths and/or regular widths. Please call this office for a price.

The starred knots, loose knots and pin holes can be filled (if desired). There may be short splits (up to 6") which can be lost in laying and some brown oak (fistulina hepatica). Sapwood may be visible on some boards (not exceeding 10% of the face area and 15% of the total area).

Random widths:
Haddeo narrow 75mm - 150mm (3"-6" nom.)
Haddeo wide 175mm - 225mm (7"-9" nom.) with 10% being 225mm (9" nom.) or to client specifications.
Random Lengths:
915mm - 3658mm (3' - 12'), mainly 1220mm - 2745mm (4' - 9'), with at least 50% over 1830mm (6').
