Named after the
Haddeo Woodlands belonging to the Dru family and in the heart of Exmoor.
This grade of oak flooring is similar to the Exmoor grade but knottier,
with heavier clusters of 'catspaw', bolder figuring and a wider grain.
The knots tend to be large and there are wide variations in colour Also available in other random widths and/or regular widths. Please call this office for a price. The starred knots, loose knots and pin holes can be filled (if desired). There may be short splits (up to 6") which can be lost in laying and some brown oak (fistulina hepatica). Sapwood may be visible on some boards (not exceeding 10% of the face area and 15% of the total area). |
